Knitting Breeds Antisocial Behavior, Study Says

> November 2006. Near the Antique Market, Shanghai.

One of my favorite things about walking in China is seeing people treating the sidewalk like it's their living room. They may not be blasting their boombox or hooking up their tv's to the lampposts like they do in Harlem, but it's the same idea.

Anyone come up with a different headline?

vis a vis treating the sidewalk like your living room: my favorite Shanghainese take on this are the people who are walking around on the street in their pajamas as I'm coming home from work at 6:45. I gotta wonder what everyone else is doing right that I am doing wrong: they've been home long enough to have pj's on and I haven't had dinner yet.
